Myken and Nathan have run studios, hired consultants, become consultants, and spent years watching talented owners get smart advice they couldn't execute. Studio Fly exists because they decided to build something better.
Studio Fly started with a shared frustration. Between us, we'd managed multi-location studios, experienced firsthand what it feels like to be responsible for a team, a lease, a payroll, and a membership target that doesn't move.
We both went through the same arc. Struggling as operators, we hired consultants. Good consultants. Some of it helped. But when the engagement ended, the execution was still entirely on us. The strategy decks sat in folders. The systems never got built.
Eventually, we became consultants ourselves. And from that side of the table, we saw the same pattern play out with client after client. Because advice alone doesn't change what happens inside a studio every day. There's a gap between knowing and doing, and that gap was costing owners real money, real energy, and their belief that the business could actually work.
Nobody was closing that gap. So we built Studio Fly.
A combined 26+ years inside boutique fitness and wellness — as operators, consultants, and now founders.
Myken Paradis has spent over 16 years inside the operations and sales infrastructure of global boutique fitness. She's been the person behind the numbers at multi-seven-figure studios — not advising from the outside, but inside the systems, managing the teams, building the processes, and being accountable for the results.
She's guided thousands of studio owners and managers toward operational excellence and profitability, including owning and operating her own personal training studio.
"The problem was never that studio owners didn't care. It was that nobody gave them a structure that made caring translate into consistent action."
Nathan Wisdom has spent over a decade building the marketing infrastructure and brand presence behind some of the most recognizable names in boutique fitness and wellness — spanning paid media, content strategy, and copywriting.
He's not a marketer who stumbled into fitness — he's an operator who developed deep marketing expertise because he needed it to grow the studios he was responsible for.
"You don't have to choose between building a successful studio and building a life you actually want. But you do have to build the right systems."
Boutique fitness and wellness is one of the most demanding industries to operate in. The margins are tight, the operational complexity is high, and the emotional weight of being responsible for people's livelihoods doesn't come with an off switch.
We believe the answer to that complexity isn't more hustle. It's better systems. A studio with strong operational infrastructure runs more predictably, grows more sustainably, and demands less from its owner.
Studio Fly was built to be the thing that actually comes after the advice. Not a consulting firm. Not a coaching program. The infrastructure that closes the gap between knowing and doing.
And underneath all of it: you don't have to choose between success and self.
